Itinerary

  • Starting time: 06:00 hs.
  • Route: A panoramic tour of approximately 3 hours along National Route 40 is made, enjoying views of the Patagonian steppe and glacial lakes.
  • Arrival in El Chaltén: Around 08:30 a.m., an additional guide specialized in trekking joins in.

  • At the Puente del Río Eléctrico (14 km from El Chaltén), the food is delivered and the walk begins.
  • First section: 6.3 km to the Piedras Blancas viewpoint, with views of the glacier and surrounding mountains. This tour takes approximately 1 hour and a half.

  • Arrival time: Approximately 11:30 a.m.
  • This is the fork point where participants can choose two paths:
    • Laguna Capri: A moderate trek to this lagoon with crystal clear waters, ideal to enjoy lunch with unforgettable views.
    • Laguna de los Tres: For the more adventurous, a 3 km ascent with a slope of 430 meters to one of the most emblematic viewpoints of Fitz Roy.
