Discover the city of Ushuaia and learn about the history of human occupation in the Beagle Channel since its beginnings in the City Tour of the End of the World, an experience that combines history, culture and nature.
This excursion begins at our office at 95 Gobernador Paz Street and the first place we will visit will be La Misión, today a neighborhood of the city, but also a historical place that was occupied by both the natives and the first missionaries who arrived in the region. In this site we will be able to appreciate the vestiges of the occupation, as well as observe the imposing Andes Mountains at the foot of the Beagle Channel.
During the tour our guide will continue to tell how the occupation and history of the city has evolved while we visit emblematic places such as the old airport, the giant letter sign with the name of the city, the port, the Ushuaia Maritime and Presidio Museum and the base of the Martial Glacier reserve
During the ascent to the base of the Martial reserve we will visit the viewpoint of the Beeches from which we will have a wonderful view of the Beagle Channel and the Glacier. We will reach the end of the path where the tea house and the access to the old ski slope of the Martial Glacier are located. At this site, those who wish to stay in the teahouse or wish to pay for access to walk up the old ski slope can stay and return by their own means
After having learned about the history of the city and its most emblematic places, we will drop off passengers at their accommodations in the hope that they have enjoyed the tour of the city!
The tour begins with the transfer from the centrally located hotels in Ushuaia. The first stop will be at the La Mission neighborhood, one of the oldest sectors of the city, from where you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Ushuaia and the Andes Mountains. Here, you'll learn about the city's origins and its growth amidst extreme nature.
We continue to the most emblematic points, including the old presidio of Ushuaia, a historical icon that narrates the life of the first settlers. We will also make a stop at the iconic Ushuaia posters to immortalize your visit with spectacular photographs.
The tour continues to the Martial Glacier Nature Reserve, home to the famous glacier of the same name. Along the way, we will enjoy the Las Hayas viewpoint, where you will have unforgettable views of the Beagle Channel and the Fuegian landscapes. This viewpoint is perfect for stopping to admire the surroundings and take unique photographs.
