Embark on an unforgettable experience where you’ll marvel at the marine wildlife of the Beagle Channel, the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, and the breathtaking landscapes of the Andes Mountains.
The adventure begins at the Ushuaia Port, where passengers will arrive on their own and exchange their voucher to access the dock and board the catamaran that will take them across the waters of the End of the World City.
The first stop on the itinerary is Casco Island, also known as Bird Island, home to nesting imperial cormorants! During the journey, you’ll also spot other birds such as Southern Giant Petrels, Black-browed Albatrosses, Skuas, Grey Gulls, Kelp Gulls, and more.
Next, the tour heads toward Alicia Island, part of the Bridges archipelago, which is home to a colony of South American sea lions, also known as two-haired sea lions. The journey continues to the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, where you can capture the must-have photo of your visit to Ushuaia.
After seeing the lighthouse, the catamaran navigates eastward to Martillo Island, about 80 km from Ushuaia. This island is a summer home to colonies of Magellanic and Gentoo penguins, unique to Patagonia Argentina. The boat will beach near the shore, offering an excellent view of these charming birds in their natural habitat.
Following the visit to the penguin colony, the tour returns to Ushuaia.
