Explore the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier from a unique perspective: the water. This excursion will allow you to get up close to the ice walls and experience the majesty of one of the most iconic glaciers in Patagonia up close.

Navigation in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier it is an unforgettable activity that takes you to contemplate the imposing ice walls from the Rico Arm of Lake Argentino. During this journey of approximately 1 hour, you will enjoy:

  • Close-up views of the glacier walls: Get up close and personal with just 150 meters of the glacier’s south wall, observing its magnitude and the intense blue color of its ice.
  • Floating icebergs and calvings: During navigation, it is common to witness the natural spectacle of ice calvings, accompanied by the unique sounds of glacial movement.
  • Contact with nature: Enjoy a unique landscape surrounded by mountains, forests and the sparkling lake that frames the glacier.

The boat pauses in front of the glacier, allowing you to take pictures and admire the scenery in peace.

Itinerary

Access to the park (entrance fee is not included). The port of embarkation is located within the park, a few kilometers from the panoramic walkways.

Duration: 1 hour. The boat will take you along the Rico Arm, approaching the walls of the glacier. During the tour, you will be able to observe floating icebergs and the characteristic ice calvings.

A stop near the south wall of the glacier will allow you to enjoy this natural spectacle from the water.

At the end of the navigation, you will be able to combine this experience with a tour of the walkways (optional).
