Embark on an unforgettable experience in which you can marvel at the marine fauna of the Beagle Channel, the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and the stunning landscapes of the Andes Mountains. The adventure begins at the port of Ushuaia, where passengers will go on their own, and where they must exchange their voucher to enter the pier and board the catamaran that will take them to sail the waters of the Beagle Channel.
The first stop on the itinerary will be on Casco Island, still within Ushuaia Bay, where the imperial cormorants nest and where you can also see Southern Giant Petrels, Black-browed Albatrosses, Skuas, Grey Gulls, Kelp Gulls and more. Then, the boat will leave the bay behind to visit Alicia Island, home to a colony of 2-haired Sea Lions, also known as South American Sea Lion or Sea Lion and from there, the catamaran will head to the Bridges archipelago, where passengers will be able to descend to step on land in the middle of the channel and visit an archaeological site once occupied by the natives of the Beagle Channel, a canoe tribe known as Yámanas or Yaganes.
From the Bridges Islands you will sail east until you reach the Les Eclaireurs archipelago, occupied by the lighthouse, and be able to take that photo that cannot be missed in our album visit to Ushuaia.
