Live a unique adventure at the end of the world, exploring the landscapes of Tierra del Fuego by minibus to the historic Harberton Stay. From there, we will embark on a semirigid boat (zodiac) to Martillo Island to enjoy an incredible direct encounter: a 1-hour walk among penguins in their natural habitat, always in a protected environment and accompanied by a local guide.
Meeting at the departure point in Ushuaia and beginning of the journey towards the eastern part of the province.
We will travel by minibus along National Route N° 3 and Provincial Route J, crossing Fuegian forests and enjoying the natural landscapes surrounding Ushuaia, until we reach Harberton Stay.
Arrival at the stay area and preparation to continue the journey to Martillo Island. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Harberton Stay is closed on Tuesdays. On these dates, no restrooms will be available during the tour, so only natural spaces will be available.
From the bay of the stay, we will board a semirigid boat (zodiac) that will take us to Martillo Island.
Once on the island, we will have an experience of approximately 1 hour walking among the penguins, always following the staff's instructions and respecting the natural environment.
After the experience, we will return by boat to the stay and then begin the land return to Ushuaia by minibus.
Yes, the tour has a low level of difficulty, ideal for people of all ages.
The walk is designed to respect the space of the penguins, following safety and wildlife preservation regulations.
It is advisable to wear warm and waterproof clothing, comfortable shoes, a hat, gloves and sunscreen.
The excursion takes place even in adverse weather conditions, except in extreme cases that affect safety.
It does not include meals, so it is suggested to bring snacks or drinks.
