The Lagos 4×4 Crossing is a unique experience that invites you to explore the most impressive landscapes of Ushuaia aboard all-terrain vehicles. This excursion will take you to discover Lake Escondido and Lake Fagnano, traversing challenging terrain and enjoying panoramic views of the region. The adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in Ushuaia. On board high-end 4×4 vehicles, you will start the tour along National Route No. 3, which crosses the Andes Mountains. The first stop will be in the Carbajal Valley, known for its extensive peat bogs and views of nearby glaciers. Later, you will arrive at the Garibaldi Pass, a viewpoint that offers a spectacular view of Lake Escondido. The journey continues along off-road roads that will take you through native forests and muddy terrain to the shores of Lake Fagnano, one of the largest on the island. Here, you’ll enjoy a typical Argentinian lunch or dinner at a lakeside cabin, including a cold cuts snack, chorizo steak, and vegetarian options. After lunch, you will return to Ushuaia. The option of adding kayaks is offered for those over 10 years old.
