About this tour

Embark on a unique experience that combines sailing through the iconic Beagle Channel and a hike on Martillo Island, home to a penguin colony. This tour will allow you to explore the rich biodiversity of the region and enjoy breathtaking landscapes at the southern tip of the American continent. The adventure begins at the tourist port of Ushuaia, where we will begin the bus tour along Route N°3 and Route J, crossing the Fuegian forest. We will arrive at the boarding area and sail approximately 20 minutes until we disembark on Martillo Island, also known as Penguin Island. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to walk among Magellanic penguins and occasionally Gentoo penguins, closely observing their behavior and learning about their habitat. Then we start the return to the city, where you will board a comfortable and safe boat to start sailing through the Beagle Channel. During the journey, you will visit points of interest such as Isla de los Pájaros, home to various species of native birds, and Isla de los Lobos, where you can observe sea lions in their natural habitat. The journey continues to the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, known as the “Lighthouse at the End of the World”, a symbol of the region that offers a perfect opportunity to capture memorable photographs.
