start early with optional pickup from your hotel in El Calafate (only for accommodations with reception). From there, the journey heads to the Los Glaciares National Park, where you will have a brief visit to the glacier’s walkways to admire its majesty from different viewpoints. Next, you will embark at the Bajo de las Sombras port to cross Lake Rico

The hike begins at the glacier moraine, an approximately 2-hour trail through forests and scenic landscapes. Once on the ice, the real challenge begins: for 3 hours you will walk on the glacier in small groups, exploring blue lagoons, deep crevasses and caves, always accompanied by two guides who will provide you with information about the glacial ecosystem and the surrounding mountains.
After the hike, you will have time to enjoy your lunch (which you will have to bring) in the middle of a dreamlike landscape. The return is made along the same path to the refuge and, later, to the port and El Calafate.
Pick-up from 7:00 am in centrally located accommodations. Arrival at Los Glaciares National Park and 1-hour visit to the walkways.

It is only suitable for people from 18 to 50 years old with good physical condition. It is not recommended for pregnant women, people with reduced mobility, heart problems, obesity or chronic diseases.
Comfortable and warm layered clothing, trekking shoes, gloves, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
You will need to bring your own food and drink, as there are no options to buy during the tour.
The tour takes place in all weather conditions, as long as they do not compromise the safety of the participants.
It is not necessary to have experience, but it is necessary to be in good physical condition, since the hike is highly demanding.
It is only carried out in hotels with reception. If your accommodation does not have this service, you will be assigned a nearby meeting point.
