The Ojo del Albino Trekking is a challenging and fascinating experience in the middle of Tierra del Fuego’s nature, which takes you from the famous Laguna Esmeralda to the impressive Ojo del Albino Glacier. Trekking Itinerary

• Start at Laguna Esmeralda: The trail begins on the traditional path to Laguna Esmeralda, where we will enjoy its characteristic color and its natural environment. From here, we will take a detour to the right bank of the lagoon, through a more technical and controlled terrain due to the presence of fallen trees and old beaver trees.
• Ascent to the Mountain Area: After passing the lagoon, we head towards a mountain terrain at about 650 meters above sea level. Nuestro guía se encargará de llevarnos por el safer and more comfortable path, taking advantage of the views of the Sorondo mountain range, Mount Olivia and the imposing peaks of the Five Brothers.
• Ascent to the Ojo del Albino Glacier: In this last stage, our guide, equipped with ropes and carabiners, will help us to overcome the difficulties of the terrain in this most demanding section. After a controlled and technical climb, we will arrive at the glacier, an immense sea of ice surrounded by the Rhino towers, which give the view a monumental character.
• Lunch on the Glacier and Descent: On the glacier, we will take a well-deserved break to enjoy a hot lunch, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After regaining strength, we begin the descent along the same path, with special attention to the terrain to ensure a safe and controlled descent.
