We begin the excursion with the transfer from your accommodation to the destinations, traveling through lush landscapes and enjoying the tranquility of the missionary environment.
The first stop is at the Ruins of San Ignacio, a historic site declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. Here, you will be guided by the vestiges of a 17th-century Jesuit mission that functioned as a refuge for more than 12,000 Guaraní. Throughout the tour, you will discover its unique architecture and learn about evangelization and resistance in colonial times.
Enjoy free time for lunch at a typical local restaurant (not included). This is a great time to sample regional dishes or relax before continuing with the tour.
Then, we head towards the Wanda Mines, an emblematic site where precious stones such as amethysts, agates and quartz are extracted and worked. During the visit, you will explore open galleries and learn about the processes of formation and extraction of these minerals. You will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive jewelry and crafts as souvenirs. Approximate duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
At the end of the day, we will return to your accommodation, concluding a day full of history, culture and nature.
