Embark on a unique adventure exploring the majestic Vinciguerra Glacier, one of Ushuaia’s most impressive natural gems. This trekking of high difficulty will allow you to cross diverse landscapes, from peat bogs and Fuegian forests to the imposing Laguna de los Témpanos, culminating in the imposing glacier. The day begins with the transfer from your accommodation in Ushuaia to the Andorra Valley, the starting point of the trail. Over the course of approximately 8 hours, you will ascend 600 meters, crossing various ecosystems that offer panoramic views and a deep connection with nature. The route includes the crossing of peat bogs, characteristic of the region, and immersion in the Fuegian forest, home to native species. Leaving the forest, the landscape transforms into a high valley that leads to the Laguna de los Témpanos, known for its crystal clear waters and floating icebergs. From here, you ascend to the Vinciguerra Glacier, where you can explore ice caves and enjoy unparalleled panoramic views.
Pick-up from your hotel in Ushuaia and transfer to the Andorra Valley.
Start of the hike following the course of the Arroyo Grande, crossing peat bogs and entering the Fuegian forest.
Climb along trails surrounded by lengas and ñires, observing the local flora and fauna.
Exit the forest into a high valley with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Arrival at the lagoon, time to rest and appreciate the floating icebergs. The box fight will be delivered.
If the weather and the group of walkers are in good condition, the final climb to the glacier will be made for the exploration of ice caves.
Start of the descent following the same path to the starting point and transfer back to the accommodation.
