Located in the Andes Mountains, the Vinciguerra Glacier is one of the most demanding treks for nature and hiking lovers, offering a unique experience that combines peat landscapes, forests and mountains, and as a highlight, the Laguna de los Témpanos and the glacier.
This excursion begins with the tour of the accommodations to look for each of the participants and once we have them all we will go to the Andorra Valley, where we will find the entrance to the trail.
Once we have received the instructions from the guide, the walk begins by crossing a peat farm until we reach the bridge of the Arroyo Grande and after crossing it, we will enter the Fuegian forest to enter the trail and begin the ascent surrounded by Lengas, Guindos and Ñires that will accompany us until we reach 600 meters of altitude where the vegetation disappears.
After crossing the vegetation limit, the trail becomes stony and runs through a landscape similar to that of the high mountains, increasing the demand of trekking, so it is important to be in excellent physical condition.
Once in the lagoon, and if the weather conditions allow it, we will go around it until we reach the glacier and observe its cracks and mills, we will eat what we have taken and we will return along the same path traveled until we reach the gate where the vehicle will wait for us.
Exhausted but with the satisfaction of having fulfilled the objective, and filling our eyes and hearts with landscapes and unforgettable moments, we will leave each passenger in their accommodation.
