Itinerary

The day starts early, with a transfer from your accommodation in Ushuaia to the Andorra Valley. The trekking begins at the Tranquera Verde, where a professional guide will guide you before starting the hike.

The tour begins with a 20-minute walk on flat terrain, crossing reddish peat bogs and forests of lengas, ñires and coihues. After crossing the Arroyo Grande by a pedestrian bridge, you will have the opportunity to observe beaver trees in the natural environment.

The first section of ascent lasts approximately 2 hours and takes you to an impressive waterfall located at the edge of the vegetation. Here you will enjoy a 20-minute break to recharge with a fruit snack and take photos of this magical landscape.

Continuing with the ascent, you will arrive at the majestic Laguna de los Témpanos, surrounded by the Andes Mountains. In this splendid glacier water mirror, you will enjoy an included box lunch (sandwich, fruit and water), while you delight in the scenery and capture unforgettable photographs.

Just 20 minutes from the lagoon, you will find the glacier's ice caves. If weather and terrain conditions allow, you will be able to briefly access these unique natural formations, ideal for spectacular photos.
