About this tour

City Tour is the most complete tour to get to know the city of Ushuaia and its surroundings. On this tour you will get the best tips on where to eat, where
to shop and what to do. We will begin the excursion by visiting the La Mision neighborhood, where we will enjoy a
panoramic view of the entire city at the foot of the imposing Andes Mountains. Then, we will head to the most emblematic signs of Ushuaia to take photos and capture unforgettable moments. We will continue our journey to the old prison of Ushuaia and continue to the Le Martial nature reserve, home of the famous Martial Glacier. During the ascent to the reserve we will also visit the Las Hayas viewpoint, from where we will have a wonderful view of the Beagle Channel.
Once in the reserve, visitors who wish to pay for access to the old ski slope of the Martial Glacier and accompany the guide can join a short
walk with crampons. For those who prefer a more relaxed plan, they can enjoy the charming surroundings of the reserve and visit the famous Casa de Té del Glaciar, a picturesque cabin that preserves the Fuegian architectural style. At the end of the tour, we will take each passenger back to their hotel.

Itinerary

Meeting Point: We meet at the agency's main office in downtown Ushuaia, where our local guide will welcome passengers and give a brief introduction about the tour. From here, we will start the excursion in a comfortable vehicle specially prepared for this type of tour.

Afterwards, we will explore some of the most recognizable places in the city, such as the famous tourist signs and the most photographed sites of Ushuaia. We will also make a stop to learn about the history of the Old Presidio of Ushuaia, one of the most iconic places that marked the development of the city.

After touring the city, we head towards the Martial Glacier Nature Reserve, located a few minutes from downtown. This impressive natural space offers two alternatives according to your preferences: 1. Moderate walk: A climb of about an hour along marked trails, where you will enjoy incredible panoramic views of the Beagle Channel and the city of Ushuaia. This activity requires adequate physical condition, so it is not recommended for people with mobility problems. 2. Casita de Té Cabin: If you prefer to relax, you can visit this cozy cabin located in the reserve, where you can enjoy a hot drink surrounded by unique landscapes.

After enjoying the reserve, we return to the vehicle to start the way back to the starting point. During the return, you will have the opportunity to answer questions with the guide and receive recommendations on additional activities in Ushuaia.
