The excursion begins with the tour of the accommodations looking for each of the people who will participate in the tour and after having them all we will head west along National Route No. 3 until we reach the End of the World Train Station, located 1 km before the entrance to the park. (If passengers wish to take the train, it is important to consider that if they do not buy it in advance, the ride is subject to availability) While some of us ride on the train, the rest of us will tour the station and then enter the reserve with our guide and driver to go to the Parque Station, where we will all meet again to continue with the excursion. Within the National Park, we will visit the most outstanding places of the areas of public use, among which we can count the Zaratiegui Cove
, home to the world’s southernmost Post Office. (Don’t forget to bring your passport to get stamped at this unique site!) The Lake Acigami (or Lake Roca), an impressive lake of glacial origin, shared between Argentina and Chile; and finally, Lapataia Bay, the end point of National Route No. 3, a Pan-American route that connects Tierra del Fuego with Alaska.
