The tour starts in the direction of the Andes Mountain Range, along National Route 258 and towards the south, bordering the banks of the Gutiérrez and Mascardi lakes. After the last named lake we will reach a gravel road that will leave us at the base of Cerro Tronador.
The route is winding, surrounded by forests of coihues and lengas, and after crossing the bridge of the Manso River we will arrive at Pampa Linda.
This small plain is close to the Manso glacier, also known as Ventisquero Negro, where we will walk around the place to appreciate the immensity of the Tronador mountain and its glaciers.
A little further on, the tour ends. The three peaks that crown the Tronador are the Argentinean (3,040 m), the International (3,554m) and the Chilean (3,474 m).
